Dr. Mary Spease: New Google Page

Recently, I learned that there is a difference between a Google Page and a Google + profile. Therefore, in efforts to expand my practice and increase my online visibility, the team at Streamline Results created a Google Page for my private practice. If you would like to support my practice and read posts regarding relationships, addiction and recovery, codependency, and all things related to psychology, please feel free to follow my page:

Villa Kali Ma: A Luxury Sober Living for Women

I had the opportunity yesterday to meet Kay White, the founder and owner of Villa Kali Ma (a luxury sober living home for women).  She was very kind and welcoming while giving me a tour of her beautiful Spanish style home.  While viewing all of the rooms and amenities, she shared her passion for helping women in their efforts to work through struggles and develop a new way of life.  In addition to morning group meetings and daily readings, Kay also leads the women in yoga classes.  Her love of yoga and its principles is a large part of what makes this particular sober living unique.

Villa Kali Ma welcomes women of all ages and is dedicated to helping them “overcome substance abuse, addiction, emotional trauma, low self-esteem and other spiritual maladies, allowing them to live powerful, spiritually abundant lives, discovering their true greatness, potential and purpose.”

World’s Toughest Job: Being a mother

I know this is a few days past Mother’s Day, however, I believe it is never too late to show gratitude! Therefore, I wanted to share the following:

To all the mothers who have and continue to make the conscious choice to love their children unconditionally, be the greatest protector and healer of their hearts, and who exude warmth and compassion, know that you are loved, are a true treasure, and the person that makes life beautiful!

Hoping all of the wonderful women in the world had a VERY Happy Mother’s Day!!!

And to my mother, you are my heart. I love you and am ever grateful for your unwavering love and support. Without you, life would not be the same.
