SELF-CARE

As a psychologist, my days are spent gratefully being of service to others and experiencing the blessing of walking alongside someone’s journey.  It also means holding emotional energy throughout the day which often varies from session to session.

I truly believe my clients deserve the best of me and in order to do so, I have to take good care of myself.  Therefore, taking the time to practice self-care and allow my soul to recharge is vital.  It could be intentional in choosing solitude, a nap, a good meal, connection with loved ones, a run, etc.  Today, the ocean was my place of refuge and rejuvenation.
